EZmix 2 + Metal Guitar Gods and Metal Guitar Gods 2 EZmix Packs from Toontrack bundles the EZmix 2 plug-in with the Metal Guitar Gods and Metal Guitar Gods 2 EZmix expansion packs. Created by iconic and trendsetting guitarists, and designed to expand the core content in EZmix 2, these two packs present musicians and producers with a collection of rhythm, lead, and clean tones that paint a broad picture of today's modern metal guitar.
EZmix 2 is a plug-in that essentially functions as a mixing engineer, mastering suite and guitar/bass amplifier all wrapped up inside a single unified package. When inserted on a channel and a setting chosen from the plug-in browser menu, a more or less complex signal chain of different effect units opens up in the background. All the work of combining, routing and tweaking the individual effects has already been done by experienced mixing engineers.
The plug-in can be instantiated on a channel, auxiliary track, a sub group, or the master fader. It's wide selection of presets allows the user to quickly hone in a desired combination of effects. All the functionality and content from the previous version of EZmix is still available in EZmix 2, with the major difference being that the new version comes with settings based on high-tech mastering effects, new reverb algorithms, guitar and bass amplifier/cab simulation, a completely revised interface, and a large core content boost.

It provides signal chains for rhythm, lead, and clean sounds, as well as settings for acoustic guitar and bass.
The Metal Guitar Gods 2 EZmix Pack features approximately 50 guitar and bass settings, modeled and EQ-matched directly from the personal tones of Chris Broderick (Megadeth), Tosin Abasi (Animals As Leaders), Jeff Loomis (ex-Nevermore, Conquering Dystopia), and Ryan Knight (The Black Dahlia Murder). It offers soaring, saturated leads, pummeling rhythm sounds, tight/semi-clean tones, and ambient/effect-soaked soundscapes.
