Breaking Dawn – Part 2 (Original Title: The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 ) is the second part of the film adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s book Till (s) End of the Night and thus the fifth and final part of the Twilight movie series. Directed again by Bill Condon on behalf of Lionsgate and Summit Entertainment , who has already directed Part 1 on Breaking Dawn . The premiere of the film took place on 14 November 2012 in Belgium . The theatrical release for Germany , Austriaand German-speaking Switzerland was on November 22, 2012. On March 28, 2013, the film was released on DVD. [5]

The film seamlessly continues the storyline from the end of its predecessor, Breaking Dawn – End of Night – Part 1 . On her first hunt, the newborn vampire Bella demonstrates an uncommon self-control ability by favoring a puma over a slightly injured mountaineer. Afterwards she meets Jacob, who has influenced her daughter Renesmée, which Bella does not know yet. When she sees her daughter Renesmée for the first time, she learns that it grows unusually fast and that it has the special ability to communicate with people through touch and thus to reveal their thoughts. As Jacob Bella confesses that he was minted on her daughter, there is a violent argument between the two. However, they soon get along again.

The Cullens give Bella and Edward their own remote home in the woods, where the two live with their daughter. However, the family is increasingly worried about the rapid development of Renesmee, fearing that the child may expect to live far too short in comparison to people.

With the Cullens planning to fool Bella’s father, Bella has died to leave Forks, Jacob inaugurates his secret by turning himself into a wolf in his presence. Jacob tells Charlie that Bella is fine, but that she has “changed.” During Charlie’s subsequent visit, Bella leaves him in the dark about her real nature and Renesmée’s origins and asks him to ask as few questions as possible. When Bella and Renesmée and Jacob are traveling in the snowy mountains, they are being watched by Irina, a member of the Denali clan. Shortly thereafter, Alice receives a vision in which the Volturi come to Forks to destroy the Cullens. She had since gone to Volterra to tell the Volturi about this Cullen’s supposed crime. As the only chance to avert a fight, the Cullens are looking for allies to testify to Renesmée’s uniqueness. If they can prove that no law has been broken, the Volturi must go back idly, to maintain their status as guardians of law and order in the vampire world. As they are about to search for witnesses, the Cullens discover that Alice and Jasper have secretly fled. They leave only a brief note about the date of arrival of the Volturi.

Soon more and more witnesses from all over the world arrive in Forks. Finally, with Renesmee’s uncommon talent and Edwards’ persuasive power, most of them are ready to testify and, if necessary, fight the Volturi. The wolves are ready to fight on the side of the Cullens. The approaching danger activates the Wolfs gene in many other Quileutes, so that the pack meanwhile grow steadily.

Meanwhile, Bella learns of her own special ability: she has an invisible shield that protects her from the supernatural abilities of other vampires. Therefore, Edward and all other vampires who have mental abilities were unable to use them against them. To increase her chances in the upcoming fight, Bella wants to increase her ability by extending her shield and protecting others from mental attacks, which she succeeds after several attempts. The incipient attack is stopped by the surprising return of Alice and Jasper. Alice wants to convince Aro with a vision that Renesmée will never pose a threat to vampire secrecy. However, she is appalled to find that despite the vision, Aro will not deviate from his plan to destroy the Cullens. Then Alice gives Bella a sign to bring Renesmée to safety and attacks Aro, while Jacob escapes with Renesmée. Aro orders his subjects to take Alice away. Camfrog room manager. At the same time, Nahuel, a 150-year-old half-vampire, and his foster-mother Huilen enter the clearing to testify in favor of Renesmee. Nahuel tells the story of his life, which reveals to the Volturi that for 150 years he has existed unnoticed by both humans and the Volturi himself. This eliminates the last pretext for an attack. Visibly reluctant, Aro retreats with the remaining Volturi and the Cullens enjoy the regained peace. Through Nahuel they also learn that Renesmée will be fully grown in a few years and will not age anymore, which makes the worries about the future of the girl unnecessary. In another vision, Alice sees the adult Renesmée and Jacob together as a couple.
